Books of 2014

I read 101 books this year and didn’t review all of them (parts of a series, too disappointing, too plain, too anything else). One-hundred-and-one books are a lot, so those I can still remember, I remember for a reason. The ones I remember for a positive reason can be found below, in no particular order.

The Concert Ticket

The Rain Wild Chronicles

The Art of Fielding

Wizard of the Crow

Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls, by David Sedaris (a collection of absurd stories about the mundane)

The Thing Around Your Neck, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (a collection of stories about cultures and emotions)

Amerikanah

Afrikaners – een volk op drift

The Rathbones

The Boy Next Door

Crazy Rich Asians

The Stalin Epigram

Gretel And The Dark
